Move-in Costs

A nonrefundable application/screening fee of $35 per adult member of household will be required after an initial “pre-screening” process has been completed. Upon move-in, residents of Discovery Park Lodge will be required to pay first month’s rent (pro-rated for the portion of the month in which the resident is living at Discovery Park Lodge), a refundable security deposit, and if applicable, a refundable pet deposit (see below for details on the security deposit and the pet deposit).

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit will be required upon move-in. The security deposit will be an amount equal to 75% of monthly rent. For example, persons paying $370 per month rent will pay a security deposit of $278. Persons paying $578 per month rent will pay a security deposit of $434.

Pet Policy

Pets will be allowed at Discovery Park Lodge, provided they are no larger than 35 pounds. A maximum of two pets per unit will be allowed, but the number of dogs will be limited to one per unit. A $400 refundable pet deposit will be required upon move-in. Residents will have the option of paying half of the deposit ($200) upon move-in and the remainder in $25 monthly installments. A “pet area” will be designated on the Discovery Park Lodge grounds to accommodate your dog when nature calls. Dogs must be kept on leashes at all times anywhere on the Discovery Park Lodge property, except within the residential units.

Smoking Policy

Discovery Park Lodge will be a non-smoking facility. Smoking will not be allowed anywhere in the building, including the residential units, the decks, and the common areas. Smoking will also be prohibited on the grounds of the property.
